81.   Taiwan has found the US restricting the import of Taiwanese synthetic fiber, meat products, fruit, cotton and flower unfair.

82.   Taipei currently bans direct trade across the Taiwan Strait and restricts imports -- especially agricultural products -- from China via third ports, mainly Hong Kong.

83.   The ministry said car imports would be restricted to models not older than three years and trucks, buses and other public transport vehicles not older than eight years.
