81.   Thai Prime Minister Chuan Leekpai is set to reshuffle his cabinet next week after a period of party in-fighting which threatened to split the coalition government.

82.   Takemura hreatened earlier to resign last week, then changed his mind, but indicated nothing was certain until Murayama reshuffled the cabinet.

83.   The premier also said he had no intention of reshuffling the cabinet.
