71.   Newco should consider whether it requires any continuing services to be provided by the vendor.

72.   The damages should also take into account the possibility that the relative or friend might become unable to provide the services.

73.   It may be considerably easier to give the client an inclusive figure rather than explaining why anyone should want a service provided without skill, care and attention.

74.   We are committed to providing a service of the highest quality to all our clients.

75.   Local authorities have a duty to provide services which will maintain the family unit and enable children to be brought up within it.

76.   The Children Act specifies certain services which every local authority must provide and they are given a power to provide services in other cases.

77.   In most cases a local authority only has a duty to provide services under the Act if a child is in need.

78.   It may not always be possible or appropriate to provide services to maintain a child at home.

79.   The duty to provide services for children in need is not confined to the local authority social services department.

80.   It may be appropriate, for example, to apply for a care or supervision order or to provide services under Part III of the Act.
