71.   On the southwest periphery of the high, gusty breezes from the east, called the Santa Ana winds, will develop across southern California.

72.   Patchy showers will develop across southern parts of Oregon and Idaho.

73.   Patchy rain will develop across the central Plains as a fast-moving disturbance streaks east from the Rockies.

74.   Otherwise, breezy and cooler conditions will develop across the Southwest on Saturday.

75.   Pockets of moderate to locally heavy rains will develop across the western Gulf States Saturday as humid air is lifted by a weakening low pressure system aloft.

76.   Patchy light rain and drizzle is expected along the south Texas coast, with a few showers developing across central Texas.

77.   Scattered snow showers will also develop across parts of the rest of the Great Lakes states and the northern Appalachians as numerous jet stream disturbances race toward the coast.

78.   Scattered thunderstorms will develop across the southern and central Rockies on Friday afternoon as moisture streams northward from the tropical oceans.

79.   Scattered showers and thunderstorms, some heavy, will develop across parts of southern and western New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and California.

80.   Scattered thunderstorms will develop across northern portions of New York and New England as a cold front approaches from Canada.
