71.   Rome, Stockholm, Buenos Aires and Cape Town claim that Athens is breaking International Olympic Committee rules which restrict the lobbying activities of bid cities.

72.   Samaranch has asked other bid cities to provide evidence by Sunday about any improper approaches by IOC members.

73.   Samaranch said the executive board will take up his proposal to ban IOC members from visiting Olympic bid cities.

74.   Shortly after the bribery scandal broke, Samaranch announced that the IOC would investigate and expel members found extorting favors from bid cities.

75.   Still to be decided is whether IOC members will visit the bid cities.

76.   That probably will mean strict limits or the elimination of gifts from bid cities to IOC members, the heart of the Salt Lake scandal.

77.   The bid official told the Sun that certain IOC members would take advantage of that situation by requesting first-class, round-trip tickets from each bid city in North America.
