51.   Egypt expelled three Sudanese diplomats from Cairo after the UN slapped diplomatic sanctions on Sudan.

52.   The United States announced Wednesday the expulsion of a Sudanese diplomat suspected of involvement in a plot to blow up the United Nations.

53.   Uganda has expelled all Sudanese diplomats from its territory and broken diplomatic ties with Khartoum after accusations by both countries that the other was aiding rebels.

54.   Three Sudanese diplomats attacked Sunday in Cairo allegedly by Egyptian security agents will also leave the country on Wednesday, two for Khartoum.

55.   Judicial sources said last week that US investigators had established a link between Marzuk and a Sudanese diplomat close to convicted terrorist Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman.

56.   Last week Uganda expelled another Sudanese diplomat, Awad Mohamed Husssein, accusing him of engaging in activities incompatible with his diplomatic status.

57.   The Canadian government announced Thursday that it was placing tight restrictions on the number of Sudanese diplomats allowed into the country and on their movements within Canada.

58.   The decision came after Britain announced earlier Monday it was expelling three Sudanese diplomats for the same reason.

59.   The move will reduce the number of Sudanese diplomats in Kampala to five, a foreign ministry statement said.
