51.   Elsewhere, moisture from the Pacific Ocean was pushed inland by the upper level jet stream, producing showers in the Pacific Northwest and northern and central Rocky Mountains.

52.   However ... Some of this moisture is expected to linger across western sections of Puerto Rico early this afternoon to produce scattered showers.

53.   However, residual moisture combined with some instability will help to produce scattered showers across the area, including the possibility of a thunderstorm over northwest Puerto Rico.

54.   Increasing cloudiness is expected this afternoon across the interior and west of Puerto Rico to produce scattered showers.

55.   Low pressure near the northern Rockies and western Dakotas produced scattered showers from Montana to Minnesota.

56.   Low pressure produced scattered showers in parts of Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri, Illinois and Indiana, while heavier rain moved through Arkansas.

57.   Northeast winds today are expected to begin moving some of this moisture into the area this afternoon and tonight to produce scattered showers.

58.   Some of these may produce rain showers ... However, the amount of rain will be light.

59.   The moisture is expected to produce showers across western portions of Puerto Rico this afternoon.
