52.   Tornado watches were posted as far north as the Washington area as the huge storm system moved rapidly through West Virginia, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

53.   Snow or freezing rain were also reported across large parts of Indiana and Missouri while winter storm watches were posted for parts of Tennessee and the Ohio river valley.
