Farther west, a moist flow of air from the Gulf of Mexico will promote isolated showers from west Texas to New Mexico and southern Colorado. 54. However, moist air circulating inland around the sprawling high will fuel isolated showers and thunderstorms in parts of south Texas. 55. Humid air streaming northward from the western Gulf will produce varying amounts of clouds and isolated showers in eastern Texas. 56. However, isolated showers will also develop. 57. In the cool air, winds from the east will be accompanied by isolated light showers. 58. Intervals of clouds and sunshine will cover the region with isolated afternoon showers dotting the higher terrain of the interior Northeast. 59. Isolated showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder will also occur ahead of a cold front from Texas northward to Illinois. 60. Isolated showers and thundershowers on the periphery of the disturbance could affect parts of southern Michigan and southwest New York. |
