51.   Cut into shapes and place carefully on cookie sheets.

52.   Cut small squares for tree trunks from several slices and attach to trees on cookie sheet.

54.   Cool cookies on cookie sheets.

56.   Cover cake with a length of wax paper and another cookie sheet and invert again, leaving cake right side up.

57.   Cover cookie sheet with wax paper.

58.   Deep-fry at serving time, or deep-fry ahead and reheat in moderate oven on rack resting on shallow roasting pan or cookie sheet.

59.   Cut into desired shapes and place on greased cookie sheets.
