41.   Finance Minister Amnuay Virawan said recently he expected the current account deficit to narrow this year with export growth picking up.

42.   The US trade deficit narrowed to eight billion dollars in October, the government reported Friday.

43.   The deficit narrowed, however, because US exports also hit a record on major increases in sales of commercial aircraft, machinery, computer chips and cigarettes.
