43.   Farther north, mostly cloudy skies and areas of morning fog will occur from northern Pennsylvania to northern New England.

44.   Farther south, partly cloudy skies will prevail over most of the Mississippi Valley, where humidity will rise steadily, especially over southern sections.

45.   Farther southeast, the cold winds will dry as they descend from the Appalachians into the Middle Atlantic states where partly to mostly cloudy skies will prevail.

46.   Farther west, mostly cloudy skies will linger in the chilly air mass over the Northeast.

48.   Farther west, air will be forced to ascend sloping terrain behind a cold front in Wyoming, promoting cloudy skies and a few showers.

49.   Farther west, mainly cloudy skies will cover the interior Northeast and Great Lakes region where a scattered mixture of rain and snow showers will occur.

50.   Farther west, a disturbance dropping southeast into Nebraska will produce partly to mostly cloudy skies for the central and northern Plains.
