31.   In some cases, you may have to slip a putty knife under the faucet base plate to pry it up.

32.   It is easily applied with a caulking gun, or can be troweled on with a putty knife.

33.   Next, force a wide, stiff-bladed putty knife in the seam between the molding and sash.

34.   Or, instead of using cloths, scrape with a wide, stiff putty knife.

35.   Place a cube wrapped in plastic on the blob of gum until it becomes sufficiently brittle to scrape up with a putty knife.
