31.   And MCI Communications Corp. and Cablevision Systems Corp. have begun setting up their own facilities to offer local phone service, primarily to business customers.

32.   And Ohio Sen. Howard Metzenbaum, a Democrat, wants to change provisions governing rural phone service.

33.   And it ordered the delivery of subsidized phone services to rural hospitals, elementary and secondary schools and libraries.

34.   And many of those channels will one day offer local and long-distance phone services.

35.   And MCI is offering both long-distance and local phone service for business customers.

36.   And the deregulation of electricity, natural gas, phone service and cable will bring more bills to pay with these more sophisticated devices.

37.   And on some tribal lands, phone service is even rarer.

38.   And Nynex Corp. has signed a deal with Cablevision Systems Corp., which is already offering phone service on Long Island, N.Y.

39.   And just as the phone companies plan to offer cable service, cable operators are gearing up to provide local phone service.

40.   And the voice quality of the dispatch service seemed clearer than the wireless phone service.
