31.   The Bank One corporation pays the Arizona Diamondbacks a million dollars a year to have its name on the new stadium.

32.   The corporation would also pay higher rent.

33.   The foreign municipality continues to use the property as before, but the U.S. corporation pays rent to the municipality.

34.   The House bill also repeal the Alternative Minimum Tax that requires corporations to pay at least some taxes.

35.   The legislation will eventually reduce taxes paid by corporations that incur substantial costs for salaries and other compensation for corporate officers as well as certain shareholders.

36.   The real test of whether reality sells is whether corporations will pay for advertising.

37.   The tax is intended to ensure that a corporation pays at least a basic income tax, even when it has taken numerous deductions and credits.
