21.   A Serbian policeman was seriously injured in a shootout Thursday in Kosovo province, scene of long-standing tension between Serbs and the ethnic Albanian majority.

22.   A Serbian policeman was reported killed Tuesday and another wounded in clashes with ethnic Albanians in Kosovo, and Albanians said the police then surrounded three villages amid fighting.

23.   Also Wednesday, the Serb-run media center in Pristina said a Serbian policeman was kidnapped from a bus and three other vehicles were riddled with bullets.
