21.   Intermittent snow and sleet will occur near the eastern slopes of the southern Appalachians.

22.   Intermittent snow will fall in the cold air from eastern Ontario to the west slopes of the central Appalachians.

23.   Intermittent snow will fall in the cold air over the northern Rockies, especially where moist winds climb the sloping terrain.

24.   Intermittent snow will whiten some of the central and southern Rockies.

25.   Intermittent light snow will fall from the high ground of Montana to the northern parts of the Dakotas and Minnesota.

26.   Intermittent light snow will occur from southern New England to the Great Lakes States as low pressure drifts through southern Ontario.

27.   Intermittent light snow will occur near a boundary between cool air and much colder air from the Great Lakes to the interior Northeast.

28.   Intermittent snow and ice will persist for much of Thursday night across the interior Northeast from central Pennsylvania to southern New England.

29.   Intermittent snow will also occur in the high elevations of northern New Mexico and Arizona.

30.   Intermittent snow will be common along west-facing mountain peaks from the Cascades and Sierra to the central Rockies.
