21.   Farther north, showers and thunderstorms will occur along a stationary front stretching from near Lake Erie to central New England.

22.   Farther north, some patchy light snow and freezing drizzle will occur over the eastern Dakotas and northern Minnesota.

23.   Farther north across the interior Carolinas, very humid air will be drawn into the region by the storm circulation resulting in some potent afternoon thunderstorms.

24.   Farther north and east along this front, scattered showers and some storms will develop from Arkansas into the Ohio Valley and Great Lakes.

25.   Farther north and west, weak high pressure will bring partial sunshine and seasonable weather to the Great Lakes.

26.   Farther north in the Plains states, it will turn cooler gradually as northerly breezes develop.

27.   Farther north over parts of the central Plains and central Mississippi Valley, frequent showers and a few imbedded thunderstorms will result in locally heavy rainfall.

28.   Farther north, a few light rain or snow showers will fall across the Northern Plains as a complex cold front crosses the area.

29.   Farther north, a few snow showers will develop in the central Mississippi Valley on Saturday afternoon as colder air is drawn into the developing storm.

30.   Farther north, behind the front, northern New England and the Adirondacks of New York will be rather cloudy and much cooler, with showers developing.
