22.   Voting no were Reps. Ron Paul, R-Texas, and Mark Sanford, R-S.C.

23.   Voting against were Algeria, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Egypt, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, South Korea and the United States.

24.   Voting for independence were Bosnian Muslims and Croats.

25.   Voting in favor were Barbados, the Bahamas, Belize, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and the North East Caribbean.

26.   Voting no were Sens. Boxer, Russ Feingold, D-Wisc., and Paul Wellstone, D-Minn.

27.   Early voting was calm, a spokesman for the leftwing opposition Labour Party told AFP.

28.   Voting in favor were the two main parties in the ruling rightwing coalition, the Union for French Democracy and the Rally for the Republic.

29.   Voting against were senators from the Freedom Alliance, made up of three parties which are the remnants of the rightwing coalition of former premier Silvio Berlusconi.

30.   Voting in favor were the federalist Northern League, as well as centrist and leftist parties except for the Refounded Communist party, a Marxist grouping.
