Farther west, ample clouds and chilly conditions will cover the Great Lakes while a weakening front brings scattered light snow to western sections of the Lakes. 18. Increasingly moist breezes from the south and southwest will combine with a weakening front to produce clouds and patchy rain from the central Appalachians to the Northeast coast. 20.
