16.   Sunshine will be plentiful from the Southeast to the coastal Middle Atlantic states, however, brisk breezes will add to the unseasonable chill.

17.   The disturbance was accompanied by a surge of milder air, which will gradually replace the unseasonable chill that has plagued the region during the last week.

18.   The large pool of unseasonable chill behind the front will extend as far as the Northwest Coast.

19.   The unseasonable chill will continue to affect New England as brisk breezes from the northwest deliver chilly air from eastern Canada.

20.   The unseasonable chill that has gripped the West and northern Plains will begin retreating this Christmas Day as westerly winds transport milder air eastward from the Pacific.
