11.   The New York Times said the oil was believed routed through Turkey or Iran or aboard small tankers hugging the Iranian coast to the southern Gulf.

12.   The storage facilities put Iranian crude exports within short-haul range of East African destinations, many of which can handle only small tankers.

13.   The US letter said Iraqi oil was being loaded onto barges or small tankers at Iraqi ports.

14.   Small tankers are also slipping out of Iraq and then transfer their shipments to larger vessels that carry the oil to Mediterranean markets, the report said.
