12.   Locations in the southern Great Lakes were to see scattered clouds and a few snow showers, and afternoon snow showers were predicted in the Dakotas.

13.   More showers were predicted in the Dakotas and into the Mississippi Valley with high winds, heavy rain, frequent lightning and hail.

14.   Rain showers were predicted for lower elevations of the Rockies, and for the Great Basin.

15.   Rain showers were predicted for an area from Texas to Illinois.

16.   Scattered showers were predicted in the desert Southwest.

17.   Scattered snow showers were predicted in the northern Great Lakes, Upper Mississippi Valley, Midwest, Nebraska and the Dakotas.

18.   Snow showers were predicted for parts of the Midwest, northern Plains, Montana and Colorado, with blizzard-like conditions in parts of North Dakota and Minnesota.

19.   Scattered showers were predicted across the northern and central Plains, while partly cloudy skies were forecast to work their way into the southern Plains.

20.   Scattered showers were predicted in eastern Washington and eastern Oregon.
