11.   The United States will be seeking promises of access to the Vietnamese market, still restricted through high tariffs, import license requirements and other regulations.

12.   The official said revisions had been made on issues including the timetable for elimination of non-tariff barriers, state pricing practices, import license requirements and export taxes.
