11.   The five countries leaving the council after two-year terms are Argentina, Canada, Malaysia, Namibia and the Netherlands.

12.   Chinese Ambassador Qin Huasun declined comment when he left the council.

13.   The winner will replace Poland which leaves the council at the end of this year.

14.   When asked whether Aiseri would leave the council and be given a new post, Abdul Halim said it would be determined by the commission.
