12.   Burgeoning cumulus clouds will yield to spotty afternoon thunderstorms over interior sections, particularly in the mountainous terrain.

13.   By midday, a broken band of potent thunderstorms will erupt over interior sections, nearing the Northeast seaboard by evening.

14.   Clouds will increase over interior sections as the disturbance approaches from the Great Lakes.

15.   Coastal areas will have periods of sunshine, but interior sections will be mainly overcast.

16.   Considerable sunshine will cover the Gulf and Atlantic coasts but plenty of low clouds will linger across interior sections.

17.   Farther north and west, snow showers will develop over interior sections of New England on the fringes of the storm.

18.   Farther west, a few light showers will linger over interior sections of the Northeast.

19.   Flurries and snow showers will occur across interior sections.

20.   Further inland, however, clouds will be stubborn to depart interior sections of the Northeast.
