11.   In a related development, Defense Minister Turhan Tayan said Turkish troops could enter northern Iraq to hunt down rebels as part of a hot pursuit agreement with Baghdad.

12.   Islamist Prime Minister Necmettin Erbakan said Wednesday that Turkey would continue with military incursions into northern Iraq to hunt down rebel Kurds whenever necessary.
