14.   A mixture of rain and snow will end over the higher terrain of New Hampshire and Maine.

15.   A few showers will fall in northern New York and New England, especially over the higher terrain.

16.   A few thunderstorms will ignite over the higher terrain of the Rockies.

17.   A slow-moving storm over the St. Lawrence Valley will circulate moisture into the higher terrain of New England and this will produce snow showers.

18.   A stalled storm with its persistent cold, moist flow from the north has produced the record snowfall on the higher terrain of western South Dakota.

19.   Ahead of the front, a few potent thunderstorms will develop in the warm air over the Bitterroots as well as the higher terrain of northern Wyoming.

20.   Afternoon thundershowers will form over the higher terrain of northern Arizona, southern Utah and Colorado.
