11.   The particular type of stroke associated with PPA is known as a hemorrhagic stroke, or bleeding in the brain.

12.   There were not enough hemorrhagic strokes, in which a blood vessel bursts, to give statistically significant results.

13.   Within a few days, with no warning, the patient would suffer a hemorrhagic stroke, leading to either permanent disability or death.

14.   But it also showed that low cholesterol increases the hazard of the less common but potentially devastating hemorrhagic strokes that result from burst blood vessels in the brain.
