11.   From what you have told me, I think the best bet is the French drain, to accommodate the water.

12.   French drains are essentially plastic pipes perforated in the top half that are installed in a gravel-filled trench running either inside or outside the foundation wall.

13.   However, that much water might be too much for the pump, so then your next step is a French drain.
