11. If you plan to use the liquid in a recipe, it may require straining through a fine sieve, a cloth or a paper coffee filter. 12. Or place grated ginger in a fine sieve, and press with the back of a spoon to extract juice. 13. Pass puree through a fine sieve. 14. Pass through a fine sieve, and season to taste with salt and pepper. 15. Pass batter through a fine sieve, then mix in melted butter. 16. Pass through a fine sieve, and set aside to cool. 17. Pass mixture through a fine sieve, and stir in cornmeal. 18. Pass strawberry mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl. 19. Place a fine sieve over a clean pot. 20.
