11.   This land is being purchased by the Bonneville Power Administration, which markets electricity from the string of federal dams along the Columbia and Snake Rivers.

12.   Unlike many water districts, cities, individuals and other dam owners, the LCRA and the federal dam agencies have the commitment and money to make improvements.

13.   Currently, state and federal agencies are able to place conditions on federal dam licenses, including protections for the environment, tribes and other interests.
