11.   Cover with the top cake layer, cut side down.

12.   Frost the top of one cake layer, top with the other layer, then frost top and sides.

13.   Frost and stack the cake layers, pressing in as much coconut as will cling easily before stacking next layer.

14.   Immediately remove it from the heat and spoon it directly from pan onto the top of the reserved cake layer.

15.   It can be sandwiched between cake layers or spooned warm over ice cream for hot fudge gone to heaven.

16.   Meanwhile, bake the white cake layer.

17.   Place another cake layer over filling.

18.   Place the second cake layer, right side up, on top of the filling.

19.   Place a cake layer upside down on this base.

20.   Place one cake layer, right side up, on a serving platter.
