12.   Moist winds extending from the upper Texas Coast to the Plains States will mix with advancing warm air to produce pockets of showers and thunder.

13.   Scattered showers and thunderstorms will erupt where very warm air is replaced by the advancing cool air.

14.   Snow and ice are typically produced when advancing warm air is forced to rise over cold air associated with a Canadian high-pressure system.

15.   Showers and thunderstorms will dampen the southern half of Florida and most of western and south Texas as the advancing cool air becomes nearly stationary.

16.   Spotty afternoon thundershowers will also erupt over the northern Rockies, along the leading edge of the advancing cold air.
