101.   And there is no indication that the court is poised to reconsider whether independent issue-oriented advertising campaigns are protected First Amendment activities.

102.   And that leads to a possibility that completes the circle for conspiracy theorists who believe the Bush campaign is all about revenge.

103.   And with money still pouring in for the two candidates, the campaign is likely to be the most expensive mayoral contest in San Francisco history.

104.   And this was about ideas, niceness to the contrary notwithstanding, just as election campaigns are supposed to be.
