91.   The child as a party to the proceedings may of course choose to give evidence on his own behalf.

92.   Others may need to be produced by a witness in the course of giving evidence.

93.   If that witness would be the child, however, reliance on hearsay evidence may be justified to avoid putting the child through the trauma of giving evidence.
