Gradually mix in the sifted icing sugar, beating well to a thick smooth paste. 5. A thick paste of olives, capers, olive oil, lemon juice, seasonings and sometimes anchovies, used as a spread or a condiment. 6. Add the remaining ingredients and process until the mixture becomes a thick paste. 7. Add beaten egg, pulsing until a thick paste forms. 8. Add more soaking water as needed to form a thick paste. 9. Add cheese and crushed red pepper and pulse a few times to make a thick paste. 10. Add the salad oil and enough of the water to make a thick paste. |
