1.   As is often the case, onshore breezes will temper the heat near the coast.

2.   A cool front pushing south through the Rockies will temper the heat in the central sections.

3.   Clouds and spotty thunderstorms will continue to temper the heat across Texas and New Mexico.

4.   Cool, onshore breezes will continue to temper the heat in western sections of the Northwest.

5.   Gentle sea breezes will temper the heat along the southern California coast.

6.   Heat will be tempered across parts of Missouri and middle Mississippi Valleys as thunderstorms erupt in clusters along the edge of the upper-level ridge.

7.   High and middle clouds from the disturbance over the Ohio Valley and eastern Great Lakes will temper heat west of the Appalachians.

8.   Indeed, the riders sweated their way over the zigging and zagging roads to Limoges, with not a cloud in the sky to temper the heat.

9.   The clouds and showers will temper the heat in the deserts of the Southwestern states.

10.   The heat will be tempered, however, along the Eastern Seaboard as active sea breezes draw cooler, ocean air inalnd.
