1.   These showers will gradually spread east and some May become thundery.

2.   A few showers will spread into Nevada, Idaho and southern California.

3.   A few showers will spread into the interior Northwest affecting northern Idaho and western Montana by afternoon.

4.   A cold rain will soak South Dakota and showers will spread east into southern Minnesota and Iowa.

5.   A few showers will spread into the eastern parts of the Ohio Valley and Great Lakes during the afternoon.

6.   Along the coast, showers will spread into western parts of Washington and Oregon while several inches of snow fall in the Cascades.

7.   Clouds will thicken during the day and showers will spread east across the region during the afternoon and evening.

8.   Elsewhere, showers will spread into western sections of Washington and Oregon ahead of an approaching cold front.

9.   Initially, east Texas will have some light rain, but later on, showers will spread into Louisiana, Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma.

10.   Later on Friday, these showers will spread to eastern Texas and Louisiana.
