Recent studies with ambulatory pressure monitoring systems indicate that an appreciable number of non-peristaltic contractions are commonly found in apparently normal subjects. 3. All three extremes were related to a blocking high pressure system stalled over the upper Middle West this week. 4. Although a high pressure system covers the West, moisture will increase across the Southwest and Great Basin, causing scattered thunderstorms. 5. An elongated high pressure system will promote very pleasant conditions for most of the western half of the nation. 6.
