1.   Air is drawn in to this low pressure area primarily through the ventilation slots and also through the floppy disk drive apertures.

2.   It pointed out that, in the pressure areas, it had had only modest success in achieving a steady flow of land on to the market.

3.   An expansive high pressure area in the South and West will keep the rest of the nation dry and cool.

4.   An expanding area of clouds and showers will occur ahead of a fast-moving low pressure area as it tracks southeastward from the central Plains.

5.   A few inches of snow will fall Thursday afternoon and evening across northern New England as chilly air is drawn into the low pressure area.

6.   A broken area of showers will surround a slow-moving low pressure area off the Middle Atlantic Coast.

7.   A cluster of showers and thunderstorms will surround a high altitude low pressure area over lower sections of the Mississippi and Ohio valleys.

8.   A broken band of snow will streak from the northern Plains toward the central Mississippi Valley in advance of a moisture-starved low pressure area.

9.   A fast-moving low pressure area will produce rain along the Northeast coast Thursday while periods of snow fall in the interior.

10.   A narrow band of snow will occur along the western flank of a low pressure area from eastern Iowa to northwestern Missouri.
