1.   Alan Keyes, the only other Republican presidential candidate to participate in Louisiana, won no delegates.

2.   The four other presidential candidates were some distance behind.

3.   Unlike the other two candidates, little has been heard from the business strategy lecturer at Durham University Business School since the byelection.

4.   BNP regional organiser Kevin Scott said the BNP had suffered from unfair treatment from the media and the cowardly attitude of the three other candidates.

5.   Although Labastida is considered the favorite of Zedillo, he faces strong challenges from the other three candidates.

6.   Alvaro Robelo, with an Italian bank connection, is conducting a well-financed campaign and is the only other candidate with a blip in the opinion polls.

7.   And to say DeFrantz faces more obstacles than the other four candidates combined to succeed Samaranch would be an almost theatrical understatement.

8.   At this point, the only other potential candidate of any stature is former Colorado Gov. Richard Lamm.

9.   At this writing, the only other Republican presidential candidate who has had the courage to join McCain is Elizabeth Dole.

10.   Both are physicians by training, as are the five other candidates.
