1.   The Dutch government is offering farmers subsidies to persuade them to switch from dairy to energy farming.

2.   And it offered subsidies to encourage states to move patients into smaller, more humane community residences.

10.   For thousands of working-class families earning more than that, the state has begun offering a subsidy to provide low-cost health insurance premiums as well.
