1. A stretch of new pavement or a parade of new light fixtures here and there explain what the inconvenience is all about. 2. Check the new fixture. 3. Different adhesives cure at different rates, so you can expect to wait a day to a week before putting any pressure on your new fixture. 4. Even if the new fixture has a different configuration, you will still have a good idea of what new hardware is required and where it goes. 5. Follow the directions enclosed with the lightfixture as to the method used and the order in which the new fixture should be assembled and hung. 6. I fitted the cover plate of the new fixture over the mounting ring and tightened the nuts that hold it in place. 7. I plan to take out the old tile and everything, and put in all new fixtures. 8. I removed the bracket for the old light fixture from the electrical box and used wallboard anchors to install the mounting ring that came with the new fixture. 9. I have done similar work before, but am not sure how the new ceiling fixture should be mounted or hung. 10. Installing the new sink will be relatively easy if these pipes do not have to be moved to accommodate the new fixture. |
