1. THE market bounced back following publication of the Treasury report which painted a more optimistic picture of the state of the economy. 2. Analysts said it would be hard for the markets to bounce back if the Federal Reserve did not trim short-term interest rates. 3. And, they ruefully point out, that would have been a good idea because the market bounced back. 4. But as the market bounced back, the IPOs returned, Taulli said, and by this time investors had a pent-up demand for Internet stocks. 5. But the market bounced back Friday afternoon, with intermediate maturities especially strong. 6. But traders said the market bounced off some technical support levels that made afternoon buyers out of morning sellers. 7.
