1. As drier winds develop Saturday afternoon, clouds will break from eastern Pennsylvania into the interior Southeast. 2. As humidity lowers slightly, clouds will then break across the region. 3. As the air dries on descent from the Appalachians, clouds will break near the Northeast coast. 4. As winds descend the mountains, clouds will break from southeast Virginia through the southeast coast. 5. Behind the front, clouds will break in most of the interior Southeast as drier air arrives from the southern Plains. 6. A deck of low clouds will cover the area, except east of the Appalachians where winds descending the higher terrain will cause clouds to break. 7. A cold front pushing further into the Northwest will bring scattered showers, but clouds will break east of the Cascades. 8. A period of wind and rain will affect coastal and northern New England before drier air from the south causes clouds to break. 9. A surge of mild and drier air from eastern Canada will push southwestward across New England allowing clouds to break as far south as the Connecticut shore. 10. But clouds will break in many areas, allowing sunshine to boost temperatures toward seasonal levels. |
