1.   At its fall meeting in Prague, NATO is expected to approve an expansion of its membership that may including Baltic states that were part of the Soviet Union.

2.   Biden said the Senate would probably not approve expansion of NATO to include three new members if European allies withdrew from Bosnia next year.

3.   Both companies were eager to get their expansions approved, saying they needed new space.
