1.   Fly-anglers might want to try brown and black woolly buggers.

2.   McCool recommends black woolly buggers, Clouser crayfish and wiggle nymphs when the schools are feeding in the shallows.

3.   Muddler minnows, woolly buggers and, of course, the hornberg also seem to be successful patterns.

4.   Olive Matukas, woolly buggers, woolly worms, muddlers and similar patterns are equally as effective.
