1.   Prevalent during cooler days of spring and autumn and during droughts, mildew coats the upper leaves and buds with a white fuzz resembling baby powder.

2.   Tufts of hair looking like white peach fuzz grew on her back.

3.   Both are covered with white fuzz and have now opened their big brown eyes.

4.   The white fuzz all over the pink-toe tarantula was a telltale clue.
