1.   Like Apulian cathedrals, it has a massive, stone exterior with apsidal east end and tiny windows, also western towers.

2.   The exterior has been altered many times and now only the lower parts of the western towers and the main nave and choir show Romanesque work.

3.   S. Patroklus in Soest has small corner towers and a tall gable with a vast western tower.

4.   There are two western towers with a high, open vaulted porch between.

5.   It has a plain exterior with two western towers.

6.   Chartres Cathedral is of the same pattern as the others but is given a different appearance by the spires on the western towers.

7.   A number of faades, like those of Brussels and Antwerp Cathedrals, have twin western towers and portico below.
